To Their Door

Moved up to Brisbane too early
Never had no money
Then with the natural disasters
It really hit the skids.

Not enough cash for drinkin
Wallahs upstairs were too noisy
Sent a letter to the agent,
Wallahs upstairs were behaving like kids

Said "I'm not standing by"
"To have them interrupt my shut-eye
"So watch me walking, out the door"
Out the door, out the door

I said, "Shove it Cao I'm walking out the fucking door!"

I went to Kennards, got a little storage
Parents sent a msg, said I wanna see ya
Thought it sounded better, jumped into the car

I was driving through the cane,
In the pouring rain,
In a falcon,
To their door
To their door
To their door

Came in on a Sunday, every muscle aching
Banjo came out barking, like he'd just been hit
Was his master staying? Would he know his kelpie?
Then the parents came out, and nearly had a fit

I was shivering in my seat, driving through the streets,
In a falcon, to their door, to their door,
Shivering in my seat, wondering what happened to the heat?
In a falcon, to their door
To their door
To their door
To their door

PG Out.
